Perfect for your local council or park, the Community BBQ provides the public with a top-quality BBQ to use whilst staying secure and easy to service.
Formerly the Heatlie Park Barbecue, the Community BBQ has been redesigned and remodelled. This is the ideal BBQ for...
- Caravan and holiday parks
- Aged care facilities
- Apartment blocks and hotels
With unrivalled quality, usability and durability, the Heatlie Community BBQ is revolutionising public space barbecuing.
Available in one size, the 600, with either LPG or Natural Gas models available upon request.
The Community BBQ can be fitted with either a mild steel or stainless steel build. This determines the material of the body and the cooking plate, while both models feature a 304 stainless steel trim. All Heatlie Community BBQs come standard with stainless steel burners.
This features a galvanised steel body, 304 stainless steel trim and a mild steel plate. This is ideal for low corrosion risk areas.
A full stainless construction with a 304 stainless steel body and trim, and a 3CR12 stainless steel cooking plate. Ideal for coastal and high corrosion risk areas.
In a market first, users will be able to control heat output for a high and low flame. This is controlled using the handy and securely installed knob on the front panel.
As is standard with public access BBQs, a timer is installed into the BBQ so that it cannot be left running. This timer will keep the BBQ running for 11 minutes before it beeps 3 times to alert the user that it is ending. This can easily be restarted should cooking need to continue.
It also features flame failure for safety. This means should the flame blow out, all gas supply will be halted.
Serviceable Burner Unit
The BBQ features an all in one slide out, serviceable burner unit.
This contains the burners with their electrodes and ignition as well as other internal parts.
Having the drawer as one cohesive unit makes for quick, easy repair or replacement by qualified service people. The slide-out unit is lockable for added security. The fat catcher tray is easily removed for cleaning.
We have designed and manufactured a full benchtop unit that can house the BBQ with the correct ventilation requirements. The BBQ can also be installed in pre-existing benches with Zero Clearance Technology making any material suitable. You will only need to follow minimum ventilation requirements, leaving 1930cm² to give the BBQ permanent access to fresh air, as well as the exclusion area below the BBQ. It is recommended that the underside of the BBQ be left completely open. See the installation manual for more details.
Our benches and the BBQ are designed with full disabled access requirements in mind. This means an easy push-button start with knob turning as well as the height suitable for wheelchairs.
The benchtop is sold separately and not included in the above price.
