By accessing and using our website you agree to these terms and conditions. Do not use this site if you do not agree with these terms. These Terms of Use (Terms) relate to the use of the website heatlie.com.au and our online services of M and A Mead Investments Pty Ltd, trading as Heatlie BBQs.
Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the website. However, occasionally information may be inaccurate due to changes in product specifications or price.
Some products are shown with other products and accessories which are not included in the advertised price.
If you are using the site on behalf of an entity you represent and declare that you are authorized to act on behalf of that entity, you accept these Terms on behalf of that entity and that entity agrees to indemnify you and Heatlie for its violations of these Terms.
All users need to be 18 years or over.
To use the site to make a purchase, you will need to register for an account. When registering, you will need to provide accurate, current and complete information, maintain the security of your account details, do not share your details with others and notify Heatlie of any security breaches related to the site.
All content on this site remains the property of M and A Mead Investments Pty Ltd. You are not permitted to copy the photographs, logos, documents or any other material contained on this site.
Heatlie reserves the right to modify or discontinue the site or any features or portions thereof without notice.
Online ordering:
Upon completing your order and submitting it through the checkout system, you will be issued an order reference number via a confirmation email. Your order will only be processed once it has been passed by our internal validation procedures to prevent credit card or payment fraud. We reserve the right to refuse service or supply of the products or to terminate the contract and/or your account at our discretion. If we need to contact you, the details entered at the checkout will be used.
In the instance that you need to cancel or edit your order, this needs to be done before the order is dispatched to not incur additional fees for delivery back to our factory.
Pricing and availability:
All prices are shown in Australian dollars (AUD). Most items are manufactured to order and if for any reason, this product is not available immediately, we will contact you.
Electronic transactions:
You agree that all of your transactions with or through the site may be conducted electronically from start to finish unless for some reason this is not possible. If we need to proceed non-electronically, those transactions will still be governed by these Terms.
Delivery, shipping and handling:
When we send a delivery to you as per your instructions, you might incur a delivery cost (eg for a rural location, or where the product needs to be lifted by two people to complete the delivery), you agree to pay for any delivery and handling charges shown on the site when your order is placed. We reserve the right to increase, decrease or eliminate charges from time to time and without prior notice so you agree to check all charges before signing up to purchase any product.
Although dispatch from our factory is generally within 24 hours, the delivery may take up to 10 days from the date the order and payment are received. These delivery times are out of our control as we use an independent freight company. Upon dispatch of your order, tracking information will be sent to you, along with a Tax Invoice. This can be used to track goods with the appropriate freight company. Alternatively, email info@heatlie.com.au, including details of your order and consignment number.
Unless otherwise stated, we will deliver the goods to the address supplied at the time of placing the order. Changing the delivery address after your order has been dispatched will incur an additional fee of $25.
If no person is available to sign or no instructions have been left for the drop-off of goods, then the goods may be taken back to the nearest depot and the cost to retrieve goods will be the responsibility of the customer.
Couriers will not in any circumstance call you at the time of delivery.
Payment:
We currently accept all payment methods listed on the checkout screen. By submitting your order you are declaring you are the authorized user of that card. If any further delivery charges or alterations to the order placed online are required, a member of staff from Heatlie will contact you by phone to discuss this directly.
Returns and exchanges:
Heatlie has a 60-day return policy and all returns, cancellations and exchanges will incur a 20% restocking fee and a delivery fee from the place of pick up to the Heatlie factory. Alternatively, you may wish to organize your own transport at your own cost, to return the goods. Any refunds will only be given once the goods have been returned, inspected and are deemed to have...
1. Not been used
2. In new condition without any scratches, dents or marks that may occur through transport and use that will require that product to be refurbished in any way, for re-sale. This includes packaging.
Proof of purchase is always required and this includes a corresponding Serial Number.
Heatlie does not accept change of mind returns, nor will we refund if you have found the same product cheaper elsewhere.
Reception of Goods
INSPECT YOUR DELIVERY FOR DAMAGE:
Your package should arrive securely wrapped. BBQ packages should be wrapped in black plastic and have all orange security tape intact. If this is not the case, please take a photo and contact us immediately.
INSPECT YOUR BBQ
Verify: The model, colour, size and plate thickness (for BBQs) match your order.
Count: Ensure the number of items matches your order.
Check: All BBQs are packed with an instruction manual in a plastic bag which includes the waste container, lid handles and components, and the plate lifter (Island Gourmet Elites only).
MAKE SURE THIS IS NOT THROWN AWAY IN THE PACKAGING
Check: The gas hose is attached (underneath the BBQ on the knob side) and is not damaged.
Inspect: All items for defects or damage
If defects or damage has occurred:
Notify info@heatlie.com.au within 48 hours of delivery being made to ensure we are able to act promptly. Include detailed photos, details of what has occurred and the sales invoice/order number.
WE WILL NOT ACCEPT any claims for damaged goods after 10 days from receipt of goods.
The product will need to be installed and used within 8 weeks of receipt of goods.
Do not remove the gas hose as this may affect your warranty. If a gas fitter removes this for any reason, the gas pressure from the new regulator needs to match that of the current fitting.
